How to Use Timely

Install Timely: Download and install the Timely app on your devices - available for web browsers (recommended: Chrome, Firefox, Safari), desktop (Mac, Windows), and mobile (iOS, Android). Also install the Memory app for automatic time tracking.
Set up your account: Create an account at timelyapp.com and log in. If you're part of a multi-location business, select your location from the location selector in the top left corner.
Add customers and services: Start by adding customer information in the Customer fields. You can search for existing customers or add new ones. Then add services using the 'Select a Service' field. Use 'Add Another Service' button for multiple services.
Enable automatic time tracking: Let the Memory tracker automatically capture your work activities. It uses AI to track time spent on different apps, websites, and documents without manual intervention. Your tracked data remains private until you choose to share it.
Review and log time entries: Click on any task within the Timeline to review the automatically tracked entries. Select project name and tags, then review time before finalizing the submission. You can view entries in Week or Month view tabs.
Process sales and payments: To process a sale, click 'Checkout' from the appointment. This loads the sale with appointment items included. You can modify location, customer, staff member and prices as needed. Add products, services, other appointments or packages.
Generate reports: Use the reporting features to analyze performance, track project budgets, and monitor team utilization. You can customize client reports with logos and brand colors, and share them via private URLs.
Manage integrations: Connect Timely with other business tools like QuickBooks, GitHub, Jira, Todoist, Google Calendar, Asana, Zoom, and more to streamline your workflow and avoid manual data entry.
