How to Use Tile
Create a Tileset: Start by creating or importing a tileset image that contains all your individual tiles arranged in a grid. Each tile should be the same size and can optionally have spacing/padding between them.
Set Up Tile Properties: Configure the tile size (width/height in pixels), margin, and spacing between tiles. For most tilesets, leave margin and spacing at 0 unless your tileset specifically uses padding.
Create a New Map: Create a new map and set its dimensions in tiles. Choose the orientation (orthogonal/isometric) and tile size matching your tileset.
Add Tile Layers: Add one or more tile layers to your map. Each layer can contain different elements like background, foreground, collision areas etc.
Place Tiles: Use the stamp brush tool to paint tiles from your tileset onto the map layers. You can also use selection tools to copy/paste groups of tiles.
Add Object Layers: Create object layers to add non-tile elements like spawn points, triggers, or other game logic annotations on your map.
Configure Properties: Set custom properties on tiles, objects or layers to store additional game-specific data that will be used by your game engine.
Export Map: Export your completed map to the format supported by your game engine (JSON, XML, etc). The exported file will contain all tile placement and property data.
