How to Use Onyx
Download correct version: Visit the Titanium Software website and download the version of OnyX that matches your macOS version. Each macOS version requires its specific OnyX version.
Install OnyX: Open the downloaded .dmg file and drag the OnyX icon into your Applications folder. When first launching, you may need to override security settings by going to System Preferences > Security & Privacy to allow the app to run.
Grant Full Disk Access: Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab > Full Disk Access and enable access for OnyX so it can properly access system files.
Verify System: Use the Verify tab to check your startup disk and system file structure for any issues. This is recommended before performing any maintenance tasks.
Run Maintenance Tasks: Navigate to the Maintenance tab to perform tasks like rebuilding databases, cleaning system/application caches, and running periodic scripts. Select the desired options and click Execute.
Clean System Files: Use the Cleaning section to remove unnecessary files like caches, logs, and temporary files. Be careful when selecting items to clean.
Configure Parameters: Use the Parameters tab to customize hidden settings for Finder, Dock, Safari and other Apple applications. Make sure you understand what each setting does before changing it.

Restore Defaults: If you encounter issues after making changes, use the Restore Defaults button to revert modifications back to original settings.
