Sign up for a free Dictanote account: Go to dictanote.co and click 'Get Started For Free' to create a free account
Install Dictanote: Install Dictanote as a Chrome extension or standalone app on your device (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS)
Open Dictanote: Launch the Dictanote app or extension in your browser
Create a new note: Click the 'New Note' button to create a blank note
Enable your microphone: Allow Dictanote to access your microphone when prompted
Start dictation: Click the microphone icon or use the keyboard shortcut (Alt+L on Windows/Linux, Option+L on Mac) to start voice dictation
Speak to dictate: Start speaking clearly into your microphone to dictate text into your note
Use voice commands: Say commands like 'new paragraph', 'period', etc. to add formatting and punctuation
Stop dictation: Click the microphone icon again or use the keyboard shortcut to stop dictation
Edit and format: Use the rich text editor to further edit and format your note as needed
Organize notes: Create notebooks to organize your notes into categories
Access notes across devices: Your notes will automatically sync to the cloud and be accessible on all your devices
