Install AutoPod: Visit autopod.fm website and sign up for a free trial or purchase a subscription. Download and install the AutoPod extension for Adobe Premiere Pro.
Activate License: During installation/signup, you'll receive a license key. Enter this key to authorize AutoPod within Premiere Pro. Note that each license can only be used on one computer.
Launch AutoPod in Premiere Pro: Open Adobe Premiere Pro and look for AutoPod in the extensions list. Click to launch the plugin interface.
Configure Multi-Camera Settings: Set up your multi-camera sequence with up to 10 cameras and 10 microphones. Configure settings for solo shots, two shots, three shots, four shots and wide shots as needed.
Customize Editing Preferences: Adjust editing method preferences (standard cutting, multi-cam, etc). Set frequency of wide shots and save any presets you commonly use.
Use Social Clip Creator: Select in/out points for clips. Choose aspect ratio (1920x1080, 1080x1350, or 1080x1920). Enable auto-reframe, watermarks, and endpages if desired. Clips will be stored in a designated folder.
Configure Jump Cut Editor: Set decibel threshold for your microphones to automatically create jump cuts based on silence detection. This is useful for creating engaging social media clips.
Run Automated Edit: After configuring all settings, run the automated editing process. AutoPod will create an initial edit based on your preferences.
Review and Export: Review the automated edit and make any manual adjustments if needed. Use batch export feature to export all clips with a single click.
