Download and install VMagicMirror: Download the free Standard Edition of VMagicMirror from the official website and install it on your Windows PC.
Launch the application: Open VMagicMirror. You should see a Control Panel window and a Character Window.
Load a VRM avatar: In the Control Panel, go to the Home tab and click 'Load VRM' to select a .vrm file on your PC. Confirm the license when prompted.
Adjust avatar size and position: Use the 'Adjust size by VRM' button to fix camera positions and keyboard/mouse pad positions for your avatar.
Configure tracking settings: Go to the Streaming tab to access main features. Set up face tracking via webcam or external iOS app. Configure eye tracking, lip sync, and motion settings as desired.
Set up transparent background: Check 'Window > Transparent Window' to make the character window background transparent for use with other applications.
Test avatar movements: Move your mouse, type on the keyboard, or use a gamepad to see your avatar react to the inputs.
Customize additional settings: Explore other tabs like Motion, Layout, and Expressions to further customize your avatar's appearance and behavior.
Set up with streaming software: Add VMagicMirror as a source in OBS or other streaming software to use your avatar while streaming.
