Lucky Robots is an innovative robotics simulation platform designed to make robotics accessible to regular software engineers. It decouples robotics from ROS and physical hardware, allowing users to deploy end-to-end AI models in a digital environment. How does Lucky Robots work?
Lucky Robots provides a simulation environment where users can deploy AI models that process camera inputs, robot kinematics, and text commands to generate action tokens predicting the robot's next state. The platform offers virtual environments like homes and offices for robot navigation training, along with realistic physics simulations. Users can access four 5 FPS camera feeds (two RGB and two DepthCam) and coordinate feeds for the robot body and arm. The system supports both simulation of real robots like Hello Robots' Stretch 3 and imaginary robots with drone capabilities. Lucky Robots is designed to be user-friendly, requiring only a single line installation, making it accessible to a wide range of developers.
