Download and Install: Download inFin from the App Store. The app is free and requires iOS 16.0 or later
Initial Setup: When first launching the app, you'll only need to select your language preference once
Start Recording: Simply click the record button to start capturing audio. The app will automatically begin transcribing your speech to text in real-time
View Transcription: Your speech will be converted to text in real-time. You can click on any text portion to hear the corresponding audio segment
Use Translation: The app supports unlimited real-time translation between Chinese and English. Your speech will be transcribed and translated simultaneously
Review and Export: To edit transcribed text, click '...' in the list view to export the text to your computer for editing
Offline Usage: Thanks to built-in offline recognition technology, you can record and translate without an internet connection
Access Notes: All recordings and transcriptions are stored locally on your device for privacy and security
