Download and install typeUp: Download the free typeUp desktop app for Windows from the official website (typeup.co) and install it on your computer.
Connect your OpenAI/ChatGPT account: Provide your OpenAI API key to connect your ChatGPT account to typeUp. This is required for the AI content generation features.
Open a PowerPoint presentation: Open the PowerPoint presentation you want to work on. typeUp works with any corporate template.
Use type commands for content generation: On any slide, use the '@text' command followed by your prompt to generate AI content. The generated text will be inserted directly into your slide where the tag is placed.
Utilize threads for context: Use threads to maintain context across your LLM requests. This helps in generating content specific to your presentation.
Upload reference documents: Upload relevant files (.ppt, .pdf, .docx, .xlsx, .txt) to your OpenAI account through typeUp to use as references for content generation.
Use alignment functions: Utilize typeUp's extended alignment functions to arrange objects in grids, circles, or add specific spacing between objects.
Insert icons: Use the built-in Feather icon library to insert and customize SVG icons directly in your slides.
Apply layout templates: Choose from typeUp's library of pre-built layout templates to quickly format your slides.
Use the Beautify feature: Click the Beautify button to automatically reformat and improve the appearance of your slides, including selecting an appropriate layout.
