Join the Midjourney Discord server: Go to the Midjourney website and click 'Join the Beta' or use the Discord invite link to join the official Midjourney Discord server.
Access the Midjourney Bot: Once in the Discord server, navigate to one of the 'newbies' channels or any channel where the Midjourney Bot is active.
Set Midjourney version to 6.1: Type '/settings' in the chat and select V6.1 from the dropdown menu, or append '--v 6.1' to your prompts to use version 6.1.
Generate an image: Use the '/imagine' command followed by your text prompt describing the image you want to create.
Review and refine results: Midjourney will generate four image variations. Use the U buttons to upscale an image or V buttons to create variations of a specific result.
Utilize advanced features: Experiment with parameters like '--ar' for aspect ratio, '--style raw' for less beautification, or '--cw' and '--sw' for image weighting in prompts.
Subscribe to a plan: Choose a subscription plan (Basic, Standard, or Pro) to continue using Midjourney after the trial period ends.
