How to Use inZOI
Install the Game: Purchase and install inZOI through Steam. The game is currently in Early Access and available at a discounted price.
Create Your First Zoi: Use the character creator to design your Zoi. Set their name, age, gender, and customize their appearance using the extensive customization options available.
Choose a Home: Select either a pre-built house (gray house marker) or empty lot (gray square marker) on the city map. Blue icons indicate already inhabited homes.
Learn Basic Controls: Use WASD keys for direct character control, or left-click for point-and-click movement. Press TAB to switch to third-person view. Use the small blue button to toggle Autonomy feature.
Set Up Daily Life: Use the scheduler to set recurring activities for your Zoi. Remove any pre-filled random activities that you don't want them doing.
Get a Job and Make Money: Find employment through available full-time, part-time or freelance careers to earn Meow (the game's currency). Use the Money Cheat in Psycat's Guide for 100,000 Meow if desired.
Maintain Your Zoi: Take care of your Zoi's needs like hunger and cleanliness. Call for cleaning services daily to maintain the house and keep morale high.
Build Relationships: Interact with other Zois in the city to build relationships. Your choices affect the Karma system which can unlock different interactions.
Customize Your World: Use Build Mode to customize homes and public spaces. You can edit almost any area in your city to match your vision.
