How to Use Cascadeur
Download and install Cascadeur: Go to the Cascadeur website and download the software. Install it on your computer following the installation instructions.
Import or create a character model: Either import an existing 3D character model or use one of Cascadeur's built-in character models to start with.
Rig the character: Use the Quick Rigging Tool to automatically generate a rig by dragging and dropping joints on your character model.
Create key poses: Use AutoPosing to quickly create key poses for your animation. Move control points and let the AI position the rest of the body automatically.
Add in-between frames: Create in-between frames to smooth out the motion between key poses.
Apply physics: Use AutoPhysics to add realistic motion and secondary animation. Adjust the sliders to fine-tune the physical effects.
Refine the animation: Use tools like Animation Unbaking and Fulcrum Motion Cleaning to clean up and edit the animation as needed.
Add finger animations: Use the finger controllers to animate hand gestures and behaviors.
Export the animation: Export your finished animation in FBX, DAE or USD format to use in other 3D software or game engines.
