BlazeSQL Howto

Sign up or log in: Go to the BlazeSQL website and sign up for an account or log in if you already have one.

Provide database information: Add information about your database by either connecting directly with your database credentials, or by running the provided query to extract table and column names and pasting the results into BlazeSQL.

Ask questions in natural language: Use the chat interface to ask questions about your data in plain English. For example, 'How many products did we sell each month this year, grouped by country?'

Review generated SQL query: BlazeSQL will generate an SQL query based on your question. Review the query to ensure it matches your intent.

Run the query: If your database is connected, you can run the generated query directly within BlazeSQL. Otherwise, copy the query to run in your own database environment.

Visualize results: Click 'Options' then 'Graph' to automatically generate a visualization of your query results. You can add this to a dashboard with a single click.

Refine and iterate: If the results aren't exactly what you need, provide feedback or ask follow-up questions in the chat to refine the query.

Create dashboards: Combine multiple queries and visualizations into dashboards for ongoing monitoring and analysis.

Use desktop version for enhanced privacy: For increased data privacy and security, use the BlazeSQL desktop version to run queries and visualize data completely locally.
