Create an Apple ID: Go to Settings > tap Create a Free Apple Account > Enter your birthday and name > Provide email address > Create password > Set country/region
Set up Apple Pay: Open Wallet app > Tap + button > Add credit/debit card by entering card details or scanning > Verify card through text/email/call > Enable Face ID/Touch ID for payments
Use Apple Pay in stores: Double-click side button on iPhone > Authenticate with Face ID/passcode > Hold top of iPhone near contactless reader until checkmark appears

AppleCare is Apple's service and support product for hardware, operating system and built-in applications. If you purchase AppleCare Protection Plan at the same time as your Apple hardware from selected resellers, it's automatically registered. If purchased separately, you'll need to register it through Apple's website or contact Apple using the phone number in your AppleCare package.
