Download AnythingLLM: Visit https://anythingllm.com/download and download the installation package suitable for your platform (Windows, MacOS, or Linux).
Install AnythingLLM: Run the downloaded installation file. For MacOS, drag the AnythingLLM logo into the Applications folder. For Windows, follow the installation wizard.
Launch AnythingLLM: Open the installed AnythingLLM application from your Applications folder or Start menu.
Choose LLM Provider: In the AnythingLLM interface, select your preferred LLM provider. You can use built-in options like Ollama or connect to external services.
Upload Documents: Use the interface to upload documents you want to chat with. AnythingLLM supports various file formats including PDFs, Word documents, and more.
Create a Workspace: Set up a new workspace to organize your documents and conversations. Workspaces help keep different contexts separate.
Start Chatting: Begin interacting with your documents by asking questions or giving prompts in the chat interface.
Customize Settings (Optional): Explore additional settings to customize system prompts, response temperature, chat history, and document similarity thresholds as needed.
