How to Use Headstarter

Apply to the program: Visit apply.headstarter.co and submit an application for the 7-week software engineering fellowship.
Get accepted: Wait to hear back if you've been accepted into the program. Headstarter will review applications and select participants.
Participate in the 7-week curriculum: Follow the weekly curriculum, which includes building 5 AI projects over 5 weeks, followed by 2 weeks of shipping a project to 1000 users.
Complete weekly projects: Work on assigned projects each week, such as building a personal website, pantry tracker, AI customer support, AI flashcards, and an AI rate my professor tool.
Attend hackathons and meetups: Participate in weekend hackathons and in-person meetups to collaborate with other participants and build your network.
Receive feedback: Get real-time feedback on your code, communication, and collaboration skills from both AI tutors and real software engineers.
Ship final project: In the last two weeks, focus on shipping your final project to 1000 users, learning about branding, deadlines, and UI in the process.
Present to an engineer: In the final week, present your work to a software engineer, practicing your selling, speaking, and questioning skills.
Join the community: Continue to engage with the Headstarter community through their network, events, and online platforms after the fellowship ends.
