Download the app: Download and install the Pl@ntNet app on your smartphone from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Take a photo: Open the app and take a clear photo of the plant you want to identify. Focus on characteristic parts like flowers, fruits, or leaves.
Submit for identification: Submit the photo to the app's visual identification engine. You can submit up to 5 photos of the same plant for better accuracy.
View results: The app will return a list of the most likely species matches, along with confidence scores for each.
Explore additional information: Click on the suggested species to view more details, photos, and information about the plant.
Share your observation: If you create an account, you can share your observation with the Pl@ntNet community for review and to contribute to the project's database.
Use additional features: Explore other features like filtering results by genus/family, selecting favorite floras, viewing observation maps, and accessing plant factsheets.
