Lion Browser uses AI and machine learning algorithms to detect explicit content as users browse the web. When explicit websites or images are encountered, the browser logs this information and compiles it into a weekly report sent to designated accountability partners. Users can customize detection sensitivity levels and utilize a built-in blacklist of over 4.5 million adult websites. The browser also offers additional features like history logging, image and media blocking, and custom blacklisting. To use Lion as an accountability tool, users set it as their default browser, disable Safari access in Screen Time settings, add accountability partners, and then browse normally while the app tracks and reports on potentially problematic content.
