Immerse works by offering various learning experiences within its virtual environment. Users can participate in 40-minute small group lessons led by expert language instructors, called Guides, who facilitate interactive learning sessions. The platform also hosts 3-hour community events for more extensive practice and cultural immersion. For self-paced learning, users can interact with AI conversation partners to work on specific communication skills across all fluency levels. Additionally, Immerse provides opportunities for learners to meet up with friends in the virtual world to chat, connect, and play language-learning games together. All of these activities take place in realistic, simulated environments that help learners feel as if they are truly immersed in the target language and culture.
