Sign up for VideoFX: Currently, Veo 2 is only available through Google's VideoFX platform. Visit labs.google/videofx to join the waitlist for access.
Wait for access approval: As VideoFX is waitlisted, you'll need to wait for Google to grant you access to the platform. The company announced they will be expanding access in the coming weeks.
Write a detailed prompt: Once you have access, write a detailed text prompt describing the video you want to generate. Include specific details about camera angles, movements, lighting, style and other visual elements you want to see.
Generate video: Submit your prompt to generate a video. Currently on VideoFX, clips are limited to 8 seconds length and 720p resolution, though Veo 2 is technically capable of up to 4K resolution and 2 minute clips.
Review and iterate: Review the generated video. If needed, modify your prompt to get closer to your desired result. Be aware that complex scenes or intricate motions may still be challenging for the system.
Download with watermark: Download your generated video, which will include an invisible SynthID watermark to identify it as AI-generated content.
