Articulate Howto

Sign up and install PWA: Sign up for an Articulate account and install the Progressive Web App (PWA) on your phone. This allows you to use the app like any other app, even offline.

Search for a word or phrase: Enter a word or phrase you want to learn more about. Articulate will provide a simplified definition, formal definition, three example sentences, and five related hashtags for context.

Save to a lexicon: After receiving the word/phrase card, swipe to save it to either your Surface or Deep Lexicon. Use the Surface Lexicon for words you want to use in daily conversation, and the Deep Lexicon for words to store for future reference.

View saved words in lexicons: Access your saved words in the Surface and Deep Lexicons. Tap on a word card to view its definition and examples.

Review words in Surface Lexicon: On the Review page, view words in your Surface Lexicon. Select a word to review and try typing a sentence using it. You'll receive feedback on how well you used the word in context.

Earn points for reviewing: After reviewing a word, earn points based on how well you used it. Accumulate points to earn new badges.

Check your progress: Visit the User Dashboard to view your progress, including how many words you've learned and badges collected. You can also see your review history to maintain your learning streak.
