Install Applio: Download and install Applio from the official website (applio.org). For beginners, it's recommended to use the precompiled version (Zip or Exe) as it comes ready to use.
Set up the environment: Place Applio in a folder on the C drive. Ensure the path doesn't contain spaces or special characters. Disable antivirus and firewall temporarily to avoid missing dependencies.
Run the installation script: Execute the run-install.bat file and wait for it to download necessary content. Do not run this as administrator.
Launch Applio: Run the run-applio.bat file to start the Applio interface.
Choose voice conversion options: In the Applio interface, select your desired embedder model (hubert or contentvec) and other settings like custom CPU cores or GPU caching for better performance.
Train or use existing models: You can either train a new voice model or use existing ones. To train, provide audio samples and set training parameters. To use existing models, download them from supported sources like Google Drive or Hugging Face.
Perform voice conversion: Input your source audio and select the trained or downloaded model to convert the voice.
Export and save results: Choose your desired output format and save the converted audio file.
