Install the AiAssistWorks add-on: Go to the Google Workspace Marketplace and install the 'AiAssistWorks AI for Sheets : GPT, Geminiā¢, Claude' add-on for Google Sheets.
Open Google Sheets: Open a new or existing Google Sheets document where you want to use AiAssistWorks.
Access AiAssistWorks: Click on 'Extensions' in the top menu, then select 'AiAssistWorks AI for Sheets' to open the sidebar.
Add an API key: Sign up for an account with an AI provider (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), get an API key, and add it to AiAssistWorks in the settings.
Select AI model: Choose which AI model you want to use from the dropdown menu (e.g. GPT-4, Claude, Gemini).
Select task type: Choose whether you want to 'Fill out the Sheet' or 'Analyze Table' from the options provided.
Enter prompt: Type in your prompt or instructions for the AI in the text box provided.
Select cells: Highlight the cells in your spreadsheet where you want the AI to input data or analyze.
Run the AI: Click the 'Run' or 'Analyze' button to have the AI perform the requested task.
Review and edit results: Check the output generated by the AI in your spreadsheet. Edit or refine as needed.
Save prompts (optional): For frequently used prompts, save them using the 'Save Prompt' feature for easy reuse later.
