Consult with your physician: Tempus testing can only be ordered by a healthcare provider. Discuss with your doctor if Tempus testing would be appropriate for your condition.
Provider orders the test: Your doctor will complete a requisition form to order the appropriate Tempus test based on your condition (oncology, neurology, cardiology etc.)
Submit specimens: Provide the required specimens (blood, tissue samples etc.) according to the test specifications. Tempus will arrange specimen collection and shipping.
Wait for processing: Once Tempus receives the specimens, it typically takes 2-3 weeks to sequence and generate results.
Review results with physician: Your doctor will receive a detailed report and review the findings with you to determine appropriate next steps for your care plan.
Access patient portal (optional): Patients can access their own portal account to view reports and other resources through the Tempus olivia app.
Explore treatment options: Based on test results, work with your healthcare team to identify targeted therapies, clinical trials, or other precision medicine approaches.
