Sign up for a Bland AI account: Visit BlandAI.com and create an account using your email and password. You'll receive $2 in free credits upon signup.
Get your API key: Once logged in, retrieve your API key from the account dashboard. You'll need this to authenticate API requests.
Install the SDK: Install the Bland AI SDK for your preferred programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, Ruby, etc.) using your package manager.
Initialize the client: Use your API key to initialize the Bland AI client in your code.
Configure your phone call: Set up the parameters for your phone call, including the phone number to dial, the task/prompt for the AI agent, any tools/APIs to use, transfer number, and voice ID.
Send the API request: Use the SDK to send a POST request to the Bland AI API with your configured call parameters.
Monitor call status: Use the returned Call object to track the status of your call, access transcripts, and other call data.
Test and refine: Use the developer portal to test your phone agent and refine the conversational pathway as needed.
Scale deployment: Once satisfied with performance, deploy your agent to fully automate inbound and outbound calls at scale.
